In Dec 2007, unknown person(s) shot 28 cats that CARA had in their cages at the Dasmarinas Village Club House at point-blank range. Only 5 survived. Tiger is one of those survivors.
I was recoverying from being neutered, sleeping in my cage, when suddenly I heard noise and laughter then felt severe pain around my face area, I had been shot by an air rifle, along with my 28 friends.
Some were lying in pain crying quietly, others were already dead. I was so scared and in agony, I couldn’t lift my head!
Much later I felt kind hands on me but that was followed by surgery to remove the bullet from my face – yet more pain. I am now physically recovered and living with a very kind lady, however it took her a long time to gain my trust. I used to run and hide, couldn’t sleep if there was any noise; it reminded me of that time. I can rest more peacefully now but I can’t quite allow myself to be petted and still feel nervous sometimes. I remember all the friends I lost and feel bitter that the person(s) who did this to us was never found. I want justice for all my friends who didn’t make it and suffered at the hands of this sick individual(s), who thinks torturing defenseless animals is fun.
Who would do such a thing?! It’s not even funny… :'( I’m glad Tiger is doing great with the new owner.
I remember this incident. I think it happened a few days before Christmas. Until now, it makes me feel sad and angry when I think about that night… about the cruel fate those poor cats had suffered at the hands of that person. What makes me angrier is that person responsible for the evil act is still out there doing God knows what. Hope that heartless individual rots in hell.
poor lil souls i do hope who ever shot them will pay for their crime. me along with my 2 other friends loves cats! we currently have 3 siamese cats 3 burmese 1 snowshoe 1 white tabby and 1 grey tuby cat that we care and love. i tiger and the rest gets their justice!
how could people do that! it’s just not right, i own five cats and two dogs right now. all saved from those savage-like people!! it makes me so mad! grr

WHO WOULD SHOOT HELPLESS ANIMALS INSIDE THEIR CAGES?! That person must be insane! It really angers me that there are people who are capable of doing such cruel things, but I keep in mind that “vengeance is not ours, it’s God’s.”
