It’s been MONTHS since he became available for adoption, months since we started bringing him to our adoption events, hoping that he would find his own forever home. It took a while but yesterday, SKYFLAKES finally did!
Our dear Skyflakes (named because of his dry, flaking, hairless skin at time of rescue) was another of our adoption event ‘veterans’. He charmed volunteers and guests but applications for his adoption did not really work out. Several weeks back, one of our volunteers found out that a friend of hers wanted to take care of a dog. She encouraged her to adopt from CARA and introduced her to Skyflakes. That first meeting was followed by four more and by the fifth visit, we knew that Skyflakes was about to have a forever home of his own.
The young lady picked up Skyflakes yesterday and brought him home to their place in Parañaque, where Skyflakes has a large garden to run around in and even a little ‘bahay kubo’ of his own! We couldn’t be happier for this lovable aspin. Have a great time, Sky! :))))
