Ling-ling: second time’s the charm

Gisela writes:

“My family has had dogs for a while and my sister and I were convinced that we were dog people until a small stray kitten wandered into the garage of my house two years ago. Two days later, her sister joined her and we adopted them both. They were feral cats, so they preferred to stay outside and only come inside on some occasions. But in the summer of 2015, they both ran away.

“We missed them terribly, and I started going to the Cat Cafe Manila because I was that depressed. When the employees there told me that I could adopt their cats, I went back as often as I could so I could decide who I wanted to adopt. I later brought my sister with me and out of all the prospectives, Ling-Ling was the only one who liked the both of us. So we decided to adopt her.

CARA’s adoption process was no joke at all, and we put in a lot of effort into becoming as eligible as we could. We were so happy when it was approved and while the house is less quiet and a bit more chaotic, having Ling-Ling around has made it less boring. My sister and I are both now convinced that we love both dogs and cats equally.”
