Pet Project Art Exhibition

Pet Project is an art fundraising activity established this year, 2012, by Artinformal with the cooperation of visual artists in the Philippines. The project aims to help sustain the goals of CARA Welfare Philippines which is a non-profit, non-government organization that receives no government funding and solely rely on private donations.

The first fund-raising event of Pet Project was held on November 17, 2012 at White Space, Pasong Tamo Extension, Makati. The art sale and auction fundraiser, featured 210 donated artworks, which included paintings, illustrations, photographs, sculptures, pottery and furniture. The event attracted both art and animal lovers, who all came to support CARA’s mission and vision. Attendees were also able to meet some of CARA’s adoptable dogs, Bobby, Angelo and Lady.

Funds raised from the event will aid in funding CARA’s ongoing projects, including its Trap Neuter Return program, animal rescue fund and Laguna Pit Bulls project. The Pet Project fundraiser will be ongoing, as artwork will still be available for sale online.
