CARA was invited once again for a fundraising drive at Mandala Park weekend market on October 22, 2106.
Up for grabs were CARA merchandise at very low prices.
The kiosk also showcased a wide selection of bestselling titles as well as adorable photos of the CARA adoptables.
The activity served two needs with one deed: the need for good reads and need to help rescued pets get better so they can be ready as quickly as possible for forever homes.
The booth also entertained inquiries on how to adopt pets and how to become volunteers with CARA.
One hundred percent of the proceeds will go to meet the medical needs of CARA’s rescued dogs and cats.
Donations in kind and cash will also be awarded to the Laguna Pit Bulls.
The event is one more step towards improving animal welfare awareness in the Philippines.
Expect more of CARA’s fundraising and adoption events.
