Lucky was abandoned in a house in Paranaque 6 months ago to live in squalor and starve to death… He was rescued by CARA and put up for adoption. 10 year old Gia Parpan met Lucky at the November 26th Adoption Event at Greenbelt 5 in Makati City. It was her birthday and she wanted to get a dog as a present. She had been researching about looking after a pet and had decided she wanted to adopt one instead of buying from a pet store. After an extensive family discussion, and visit to their home by Lucky’s foster Mum, the adoption was approved! Now Lucky has found his forever home with a wonderful family!
