Three years ago, Jabbar was struck on the face as he was roaming the streets going about his own business….he was attacked to be slaughtered for meat by drunkards, but Jabbar managed to escape and ran back home. His muzzle was cracked open all the way to the bone and was bleeding heavily. Since Jabbar’s owner was not financially able, all they could do was give him antibiotics. For 3 years, Jabbar’s wound never healed and infection was on and off. Maggots infested his distorted face, his eyes became chinky due to the swelling, his nose was displaced. As soon as donations were received, Jabbar was taken to VIP for emergency medical treatment but tests revealed that he had developed 3 types of cancerous tumours on his face.
He underwent chemotherapy but had to be put to sleep after 3 weeks as he was not able to withstand the treatment. From the first day, till his last breath, CARA members were there and showed him genuine love and care.
Jabbar will always be remembered in our hearts. RIP.
I hate cruelty like this.If it is not done, this dog have a peaceful and happy life.
