It was a night of gastronomic adventure and pleasing music. The Mandala Park Weekend Market last May 14, 2016 at Shaw Blvd, Mandaluyong was a welcome break for everyone.
More than 20 brands and establishments participated. These ranged from local and foreign cuisine to healthy food alternatives, refreshments, clothing and even relaxation services.
People indulged their taste buds while serenaded by acoustic sounds courtesy of Dane Hipolito.
CARA Welfare Philippines set up a fundraising booth where we sold good quality books for as low as PhP25.
Titles varied from Thriller, Chiclit, Coffee table books, Sports, Children’s books to popular fiction.
CARA merchandise was also showcased. We showed off the adorable pictures of our rescued animals.
Buyers were happy to get good books at affordable prices. They were delighted to find out that 100% of the proceeds will go to CARA’s rescued dogs and cats.
Furry volunteers Ginger and Kimchi also graced the event with their cuteness. They captured the attention and hearts of a lot of people.
Thanks to the CARA volunteers who helped organize and make this event yet another huge hit.
But the best part is – CARA will now have a regular booth at the Mandala Weekend Market happening every month!
