Please help us raise funds for ACE, one of the older Laguna pit bulls (LPBs) under our care. The LPBs were rescued from a dog fighting syndicate some years ago by CARA.
Ace was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor on his body two years ago. Then a year ago, another tumor appeared on his front paw. It grew quickly and caused Ace so much pain that he kept hitting his paw on his cage. The tumor became bloody and had to be surgically removed last week.
The tumors are just one of the long-term effects of the horrible abuse Ace suffered from the cruel dogfighting syndicate. Because the dogfighters used to regularly pump his body full of steroids, Ace is now also suffering from a severe kidney ailment.
Ace needs daily medication for his kidneys, as well as further treatment for his tumors. May we ask for your help so we can provide him with the care he needs? We’re really hoping we can make his twilight years as comfortable as possible. Donations in any amount are welcome and will be very much appreciated.
