Educational talks at Beacon School

In line with our Education program to spread awareness and encourage the youth to get involved in animal welfare, CARA Welfare held a presentation at the Beacon School on Dec 10,2012 to a class of grade 6 students ranging in ages from 10-11years.
 
The main focus of the presentation were:
 
1. To promote and inform them on the benefits of spay/neuter and responsible pet ownership.
2. To raise awareness on reasons why street animals need rescuing or sheltering.
3. To be informed on what CARA does for the animals.
4. To identify ways for these grade 6 students to be of service to the animal care community.

Along with CARA members Karla Kangleon and Vimla Mansukhani were cara rescues hope,spiderIV (cat) and fiona to give the children a chance to mingle with and handle animals.
