Cubby

Cubby lived 7 years as the queen of the compound of her foster home. All tenants loved and respected her. She was the only cat, whom the tenants would allow to enter their offices and studios, and she would take turns with each tenant, gracing them with her presence daily. She was truly one of the most sociable and friendliest cats we have ever met. About 6 months ago, we noticed a scab on the tip of her nose that just kept on getting bigger. We brought her to see several doctors and biopsy results came back as Squamous Sarcoma (malignant). We brought her home to live with us during treatment, and unfortunately the treatment was just not effective. We hope that allowing her to live her last few months with freedom in the outdoors, at least gave her some happiness and dignity. We will miss her and her wonderful spirit. RIP Cubby…
