CARA is going to be one of the advocacy groups participating at the Go Volunteer Expo on March 5 and 6 at the Glorietta Activity Center in Makati City.
The Go Volunteer Expo is a two-day event that brings together over 25 volunteer engaging organizations, supporting different advocacies and causes – from Education, Youth, Poverty Alleviation, the Environment, to Government and Human Rights
First-time and regular volunteers can learn and explore different opportunities to help, through interactive activities and engaging discussions with Partner Organizations and various speakers.
We urge you to invite your friends and family to join the event, especially those who have always wanted to start volunteering but don’t know where to start.
We suggest that throughout the Expo, visit all the advocacy areas, participate in the interactive activities, and ask questions. Volunteer Ambassadors will be present around the area to help you begin your journey as a volunteer.
If you see a volunteer opportunity that you would like to participate in, consider signing up for the volunteer opportunity before leaving the Expo. Laptops will be present in the area, so that you can login to your iVolunteer account to sign-up for upcoming events / programs of Partner Organizations.
If you haven’t signed up yet to be a volunteer for animal welfare, we hope that you will visit us at the CARA booth. There are many opportunities for you to help create a more compassionate society. We need people who can foster or adopt rescued pets, help with fund-raising and adoption events, create graphics design, blog, take pictures and videos, help out in the vet clinic, walk the dogs, answer emails, and many more.
