In the season of giving, giving has never been easier with the GIFT IT application, which enables us to invite friends to chip in for gifts for yourself, your friends, and charities you support. This app also allows users to easily donate to favored causes.
CARA is happy to announce that we were chosen as a partner advocacy group. You can download Gift It from both the App Store and Google Play.
How does it work?
- Pick an item or charity to support and launch as gift.
- Enter recipient and occasion.
- Invite friends to chip in.
The app has a gift campaign feature that lets you call on friends to each chip in an amount for a gift to someone or a group for a special occasion or for an urgent need. Gifts range from fashion and household items to gadgets and sports equipment.
You may donate or launch a gift campaign for the cause closest to your heart.
There are several causes and organizations to support, not just animal welfare. You can help with the following causes and needs: calamity, cancer, child care, community projects, education, elderly care, environment, health and sanitation, humanitarian, livelihood, medical assistance, rehab assistance, and women’s issues.
To make a purchase or donation, you need to load your e-wallet via Paypal, Online Banking, Payment Centers, and G-cash. In case there is an extra amount from a previous gift campaign, you can move your credit balance to a partner charity or for a new gift.
