CARA - Animal Welfare in the Philippines - Cat rescue Story - Peggy

Hi, CARA friends, our rescued cat PEGGY wants us to say “THANK YOU!” to everyone who helped her out.

Peggy’s story, and the cruelty & pain that she suffered through before she was rescued, shocked and outraged so many of you. (We called her Peggy because we initially thought she had a peg leg but it turned out to be her leg bone with the flesh scraped off.) The compassion and support poured in for Peggy and we were able to provide her with the veterinary care she needed.

Peggy’s infected leg has been amputated and she is now recovering nicely at the CARA Clinic. Her fur has grown back and she is slowly learning how to move about on three legs. We’re sure she’ll get the hang of being a special tripod cat soon. A relaxed and friendly feline with a big appetite, she likes lounging like a boss in our cattery area.

To everyone who sent donations & well wishes for Peggy and who helped raise more funds for her by sharing our post, MARAMING SALAMAT PO. We at CARA are always grateful to have supporters and fellow animal lovers like you. smile emoticon
