Hiring: Veterinary Assistant/ Technician

We are looking for a full time Veterinary Assistant/Technician to add to our team of low cost spay/neuter clinic. Qualified applicants must possess the skills necessary to provide quality care to pets and compassionate clients service for their owners. A 6 months to 1 year experience is preferred, however, well qualified non-certified technicians will also be considered.

Expectations of this position:
Assist the Veterinarian on surgeries, medication administration, restraint, feeding management, aseptic and sterile techniques, critical care monitoring, hospitalized patient care, ability to work with different types of people and learning styles, versatile and innovative in approaching problems, emulates our Core Values of Trust, Respect, Responsibility, Integrity, Compassion, Knowledge and Loyalty. Must be capable of handling multiple tasks, handling/ preventing conflict with a great deal of proficiency and in a professional manner.
