You may remember Sally, CARA’s rescue Chow Chow – her adoptive dad Thomas is so kind to tell us how she’s doing.
“We adopted Sally from CARA in 2013. She was found in the streets of Mandaluyong and according to the vet who treated her, they didn’t have to catch her, instead, she followed them and practically checked herself in. When I first saw her during her initial treatment, I found her to be such a friendly lady, that despite her medical needs I agreed to adopt her, to give her a home together with my other dogs.
“After months of mange treatment, UTI, ear mites, she recovered (she still requires regular maintenance as the mange still flares up from time to time), and has become everybody’s darling.”
Sally enjoys being with her family and her her pack Simba, Nala and Joey.
